You’re in the optional area. It’s a challenge to beat the Snatch’n’Grab enemies on their own, but a little patience will make it possible!
It will look like you die, but a cut scene will play, and you will lose your Blood Echoes. You will have to pick them up where you died.
You can get lots of blood echoes in one go by farming out Giant Boars and Snatchers in the nearby fields.
Go into the boss’s room and find the Darkbeast. If it kills you, proceeds to unlock the shortcut to Old Yharnam.
Casually climb up the next two ladders and walk towards Djura to talk to him. If he gives you the badge, then give it back and say that he gave it to you so that he can get the weapon.
