Dishonored Walkthrough Dishonored is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. While the official strategy guide is pretty good, I like to get some insight into Dishonored’s lore. The official website provides an excellent overview of the developers’ thinking while making the game.

Welcome to our Dishonored two walkthroughs for the whole experience. Our goal is to help you get to the end game with all items so that you can do it in one sitting. That said, we will only be using the primary paths for the entirety of the guide, leaving out any optional paths or extra things you can get that aren’t strictly necessary.

The game’s difficulty is balanced between three distinct elements: the power of the player, the power of the enemy, and the environment they’re fighting in. You can control the chaos of combat by choosing your approach, but the enemy’s nature will always be unpredictable and dangerous.
Stealthiness and avoidance are beneficial habits regardless of your playstyle because they keep you from getting outnumbered. In Dishonored 2, the choice is up to you whether to slip past, knock out or decapitate the various enemies we mention in this guide.
Whether or not you get a trophy for doing the “cleanest” mission is pretty much up to your discretion. I’ve never had to “clean up” my blood in the game, so that achievement is elusive for me.
Dishonored 2 is a dark, atmospheric game that allows players to determine how far they want to take their moral choices. If you’re willing to break the rules, you might see what it’s like to be the bad guy.
Dishonored Walkthrough General Tips¶
Since the game is so easy to navigate, if you haven’t tried it yet, take some time and get a feel for the environment and your character.
The Walkthrough provided is just one way to get through the game, as it presents plenty of opportunities on how to play. While you might be good at some things and struggle with others, there is plenty of room for improvement. Take your time to find out what works for you and what doesn’t.
The Heart is a tool that helps you locate the Bone Charms and Runes. The Heart will also tell you where the guards are and what they are doing. However, sometimes the info provided by the Heart is not very useful, such as when a guard is standing still or in a separate building.
You’ll be able to spot guards by their armor. They’ll be easy to spot, with no cloaking ability; as for speedrunning: You’ll be able to get past guards without being seen by using the rooftops.
Observe enemy patterns and routes before going after them. Check the enemies. You can use the map to see if another player is currently attacking them or not. If there is no text descriptor there, the guard is dead, and you’ll have to reload to a previous save.
