Final Fantasy 9 Walkthrough; Hello, I’m Terra_Homing here. Welcome to my Walkthrough! Final Fantasy IX is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played, so I’d like to give you a bit of a helping hand through this masterpiece.
I won’t patronize you, I’m going to assume you’ve played a Playstation before, and I’ll assume you know what X means… I’ll try not to ruin the plot with Spoilers, so feel free to read ahead; in fact, I suggest you do.
If you’re looking for an all-inclusive walkthrough experience for this game, turn elsewhere. The game does return to its roots with knights, princesses, castles and magic, but it’s certainly not your typical JRPG fare.
When the book is done, you’ll find yourself drawn into this touching story and at least find room for one of the characters in your heart. You’ll be surprised how much you care for them when tragedy strikes.
Welcome to the final battle for those of you playing along at home!
FINAL FANTASY IX – Final Fantasy 9 Walkthrough
Please DO NOT sell your equipment until you learn every supportability related to them. I recommend ignoring tetra master for now since you’ll need some card upgrades before you finish that. When you’re done with that, check out how to get more achievements from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.
The Mognet Central quest is a challenge from the main game that’s slightly different from the regular quests. This quest is not missable, but if you miss too many letters on the third disk, you won’t be able to start it in Disc 3.
The Superslick achievement is a real-time to time task. Your goal is to be the last player standing in a Tetris match, and you do this by completing a certain number of unique Tetra master combinations.

Final Fantasy 9: Step By Step Guide
This guide covers the Mognet Central quest in Final Fantasy 9 and where to find the Superslick. While this quest is initially only intended as an extra quest for the main questline, there’s plenty more to do within the Mognet Central zone.
As you deliver and read letters, you’ll become aware of a more significant issue affecting the Moogles and their mail delivery service. This will cause you to visit Mognet Central and solve their predicament. You don’t need to deliver every single letter in the game, but a chain of letters must be delivered on Disc Four to complete the sidequest.
Information about the In-Game Modifiers.
-Battle Assistance: This allows the following: Infinite Amount of Trance. Always a filled up ATB Bar. Ability to refill HP/MP bar upon being hit. NOTE: Even though you will be able to refill your HP/MP bar after being hit, this only applies that the attack you are hit by won’t kill you.
If you do this, you will be invincible. Just like a hero in a video game! And there’s always an ATB bar that you can recharge. If you’re a mobile gamer, that’s even better because you won’t have to waste time waiting for a battle to be over. You can continue where you left off without interruption!
If it does, your character will still hit 0 HP and die. -9,999: Enabling this will make every attack that you and your party members do hit for 9,999 damage regardless of stat modifiers. -High-Speed Mode: Enabling this will increase the game’s speed by roughly four times its average speed. -Safe Travel: Enabling this will allow you to never run into random encounters.
Note that this doesn’t work for boss battles, forced encounters, and so on.

FF9’s abilities are tied to pieces of equipment. Once equipped, the equipment is used to activate abilities tied to it. This is the case with most games, and it makes sense given that the equipment allows your character to use their abilities.
As you fight and earn AP, you’ll master that ability, and the character can use it innately without needing the equipment piece. Steal constantly, your main hero is a thief and not only will steal get you free stuff as always, but bosses usually have one or two rare items that can’t be acquired until later.
Stealing gives the Thief an extra boost to their Thieving Skill, but only if they steal at least 25% of their max stash.
When viewing an enemy, item, or piece of equipment, you can select the option to view additional information on that subject. You can view the health, damage, and attributes of enemies, items, and equipment.
FF9, for some reason, made the info tab a pop-up, and I played through it for the first time without realizing that it was now in full view. The pop-ups were supposed to be a way to get information about your progress, but they could quickly become annoying at times.
