Machinarium Walkthrough is an action-puzzle adventure game first released in 2009 by Amanita Design. In it, you play as Josef, a robot who has been left on a scrap heap by a factory owner. You have to figure out how to get yourself back together again.
Once he’s put back together, he travels to the city and discovers a plot by three criminals to blow up the city. The bad guys manage to capture Josef, but he gets away, and the authorities discover him.
Josef will find his lost love, Berta, who has also been captured and forced to work in a kitchen. This game is beautifully designed and is much like the other puzzle games by Amanita Design, such as Samorost 3 and Botanicula.
The marketing budget for Machinarium was unbelievably low, at just $1,000. It’s no wonder then that Machinarium has won numerous awards for aesthetics and soundtrack. It may be a short game, but it packs a lot of entertainment value.
