I’ve put together this guide with you in mind. I want you to enjoy your MUV-LUV as much as I did. In this guide, I’ll show you where you can find them all, the most commonly used strategies, the best time of day to look for them, and the best place to look.
I believe it is very important to know all routes of Final Fantasy XIII before playing Alternative because every route will have a heavy bearing on Alternative. To fully squeeze every bit of enjoyment that you can out of the peak of every installment of the trilogy, especially Alternative, this guide was made for you to have the optimal experience.
You’ll get the first impression of the girls you choose to follow, but they’ll quickly change to your liking. Don’t worry, though; there’s a warning beforehand about how each route works.
In Free, most of the decisions are fairly self-intuitive, but in Unlimited they get a bit more difficult to know whose path you are following. To make sure to always stay on the same path you have to save often to not lose your progress.
Once you read a route, you may save it for later use as you wish. You can use the “auto-skip” feature to skip over the already read text so that you are not wasting time and can get straight to the new decisions which lead to new character arcs and decisions.

Main Characters
Yuuko: A first-year high school student from the city of Osaka, Yuuko is the granddaughter of the president of the big corporation Oosaka Industry. She comes from a long line of company presidents, and her father and grandfather are both corporate presidents of the big Oosaka Industry.

Parallels and References
Takemikazuchi is barely visible in the background of Extra’s homepage. At the beginning of the game, after Shirogane frustrates Sumika, a code 991 alert from the Unlimited/Alternative universe starts playing.
When Extra meets Mikoto for the first time in the game, Mikoto says it feels like Shirogane hasn’t seen Mikoto for 3 years. In Alternative, after a subjective time difference of three years, Shirogane returns to the Extraverse.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen Mikoto, but I know that the village where they live has changed. When I reworked the land in the new area, it’s become very barren because of the huge Mitsurugi house in the middle of the area. During the spring arc, the kids have discovered Balderson and have split up into two teams: Shirogane, Sakaki, and Ayamine versus Mitsurugi, Tamase, and Yoroi.
As usual, Sumika opts out and decides to watch. The team ends up losing against the other due to a lack of cooperation between Sakaki and Ayamine. During a scene where Shirogane has to recover a missing shoe thrown behind the bushes, he is startled by a said shoe flying at him from nowhere.
The man who threw a shoe at his rival was a woman. She was called Alternative Shirogane, but she said that she was really “in another world” and was going to “hurt him. Sumika says she doesn’t know what she is talking about, in fact, Sumika has met with alternative Shirogane while Extra Shirogane was gone elsewhere. In Tama’s route, the cast discusses a certain military doll that has half of its face blown off.
It’s remarked on by everyone to be disgusting and disturbing, except for Shirogane who isn’t fazed by it. This is a reference to a major scene in Alternative where military personnel loses half their face in an incident.
Routes
Muv-Luv Extra has 5 different routes, one for each heroine. All routes follow the first two routes very closely, but a change in a few key points, depending on what options you chose. Also, some events may occur and change the route.
This manga has three different route routes. Three heroines. Sakaki Chizuru, Ayamine Kei, and Tamase Miki. Sakaki Chizuru’s route is known for having more drama than comedy, while Ayamine Kei’s is known for having more comedy than drama, and Tamase Miki’s is generally lighter and has more comedy than drama. Plot
In the anime adaptation of Yuji Terajima’s “Yume ga Tsuzuku Wake” (“Dreams Come True”) manga series, a female high school student falls asleep and dreams she is with the hero from her favorite manga, and then her life goes crazy when he wakes up from the dream.
This young woman, Mitsurugi Meiya, is the heiress to a financially powerful family. She comes to Takeru and Sumika’s school to become closer to him and find someone who will marry her. As the game progresses, both women compete for Takeru’s affection. They form a bond of friendship with each other and other girls from the same class.
